Wendi Lou Lee
Wendi is a Jesus follower, a former child actress, and a brain surgery survivor. The four seasons she spent on Little House on the Prairie playing the role of Baby Grace Ingalls are among God’s greatest blessings. Her good but hard life resembles what the Ingalls family experienced—great joys and sorrows. In 2015, Wendi was diagnosed with a brain tumor. Her surgery and recovery led to a newfound freedom to be embrace who God created her to be. Sharing her story of God’s goodness through life’s most difficult circumstances brings Wendi the most joy.
Wendi lives on the Central Coast of California with her husband, Josh, and her children, Tobey and Raegan. When Wendi isn’t visiting Little House sites, writing, or speaking, you can find her paddle boarding at the beach or walking their Bernedoodle—Mo.
Sharing Our Stories to Tell the Story of God’s Great Love
Wendi loves telling everyday stories, hoping to communicate God’s great love and make His name known. Wendi’s first book A Prairie Devotional is now available.
A Prairie Devotional is a collection of stories—from her life and from the episodes of Little House—stories about the ups and down of life, the joys and sorrows we all experience, and how every detail of our lives is continually woven together to fit into God’s perfect plan. Wendi hopes to inspire people to live the way that Charles and Caroline Ingalls did—devoted to their faith in God, dedicated to loving their families, and determined to spread kindness to the people around them. For the first time ever, A Prairie Devotional unpacks the spiritual lessons of the beloved television series in an entertaining, yet meaningful reading experience.
