Every worthwhile dream starts with a dreamer and January is the perfect time to kick off a new dream.

Big or small, it doesn’t matter. What matters is that our hearts are free to imagine something more, something different, something truer or purer. Moving out of our comfort zones or moving into what feels more like home.

The size of the dream isn’t what should be measured, but the way it will change and challenge us to be the best version of ourselves.

What dreams are percolating inside of your spirit? Do you have the gumption to take a step forward even when the idea could end in failure? Or maybe the real fear is that your endeavor will succeed and that’s what feels scary.

You are never too old to set another goal or to dream a new dream.

C.S. Lewis

In the past, I’ve let some of my dreams expire simply because of fear. But no more of that. Fear doesn’t deserve that much attention, it has no right to squash our ingenuity.

I’m dreaming of finishing my next book, finding new ways to serve our community, maybe even getting back into the workforce, and I’d like to become a better listener in 2021. It’s gonna take some serious stepping stones of faith to accomplish these goals.

Trusting God to pave the way is always the best first step.

Will my dreams come true? Maybe they will and maybe they won’t.

Life has a way of delaying our dreams sometimes, but that’s no reason to give up on your God-given ability to dream. God wants us to be dreamers. He made us to create and to connect with others and to work hard as long as we have breath. A dream is the beginning of something wonderful.

Go ahead, start dreaming!
